Doug Marshall

Doug is the President and CEO of Presbyterian Home for Children located in Talladega, now in its 150 years of serving at risk and homeless children. In a state with age 6 being the average age of a homeless person, he is now leading efforts to helping put both homeless children and their mothers on a path of hope, along with providing a residential therapeutic treatment program for teenage girls who have been subject to severe abuse and/or neglect. In 2017, he was recognized as one of the Top 50 Over 50 in central Alabama. Marshall was previously the CFO of United Ability serving children and adults with disabilities and then joined the nonprofit Alabama Family Trust as its CFO and Director of Community Relations to help administer special needs trusts across Alabama. He enjoyed 25 years with Energen Corporation, where he served as VP/Controller of Alagasco with direct operational responsibility with the State’s largest natural gas utility and Director of Tax for Energen Corporation as one of the country’s larger independent oil and gas producers before being recently acquired by Diamondback Energy. He is a CPA and worked in the Tax Department for Ernst & Young, LLP. Marshall also serves as a career and life coach with Grace Ministries in Birmingham. He and his wife, Christy have been married for 32 years with 3 adult children and 1 grandson. A fun fact to add is he won the Lip Sync Dance-Off at the 2016 Alabama Gerontological Society Annual Conference.

Kelsey Chapman

Kelsey is a 27 year old stay at home mom to her 1 year old son, Isaac and 9 year old step-son, Evan. She is married to Eric Chapman who is also competing in this year’s show. Kelsey loves reading, baking, singing, all things Disney and, of course, dancing. She is the owner of Bookish Bug Gifts, a small and new home business, where she sells homemade crafts. A couple of fun and interesting facts about Kelsey: she is related to Audrey Hepburn and a long line of Scottish Royalty. She also competed in a foreign singing competition in high school and made it to the 2nd round. This will be her first year dancing in this competition and she is so excited to do so!!
